Health Care Teams Have Conducted More than 5.2 Million Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Screenings of Nearly 2.9 Million Medi-Cal Members
The ACEs Aware March 2026 quarterly data report highlights continued progress in screening Medi-Cal members for Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and expanding provider training statewide.
From January 1, 2020, through March 31, 2025, Medi-Cal clinicians conducted 5,235,280 ACE screenings of 2,878,420 unique Medi-Cal members. Between December 4, 2019, and January 31, 2026, the initiative also continued to grow its provider training reach, with more than 53,580 individuals completing the Becoming ACEs Aware in California online training, including approximately 24,970 Medi-Cal clinicians who are now ACEs Aware-certified and eligible to receive Medi-Cal payment for conducting ACE screenings.
